Have you ever heard of Australian Sculptor, James Corbett? Well, maybe you should! Let us share his awesome Car Part Art with you!
James Corbett has been creating work since late 1998, but before that he was the proprietor a specialist motor wrecking business in Brisbane, Australia. His first attempt was simply welding some parts together and ending up liking the end result, as did others who saw his work at the shop. Encouraged by the response and his own passion, James Corbett continued to create sculptures and soon began selling them to customers.
His next step was hosting an exhibition in 1999 at a motor-themed cafe in Brisbane called Vroom. The reception was well received and he sold more pieces. He was asked to be the guest artist at the Brisbane International Motor Show, which he did for three years. Eventually, he sold his wrecking business to solely focus on his new creative career, with the support of his wife.
Now, James Corbett has gained international status and a steady following as a highly collectible and sought-after artist!
