Throwback Thursday: Chrysler - Themed!

Currently, we're keeping with the 1957 theme of Chryslers. This is the '57 Plymouth. Look at this ad --- another piece of artwork! Just imagine the details that went into this piece! Doesn't it make you want to swoon at its complete gorgeousness?!

Now, for some fun facts!

Did you know that the Plymouth in Chrysler's 1957 Corporation line "was one of the first "real" postwar cars to come out..., with totally new styling and many new features"?

In fact, the "Plymouth was by far the big seller in 1957, as it was for most of Chrysler's history."

Plus, "a standard Plymouth could out-handle any car in its class on a twisty road" at the time, which was quite impressive. It boosted Chrysler's Plymouth to an even higher fame and popularity.

"Award after award was give to Chrysler. Motor Trend named Chrysler Corporation the Car of the Year for superior handling and roadability in all its cars. Plymouth was touted as the most roadable car ever built in America"!!!
