Chrysler Utility Coupe!

Did you know that originally the Chrysler 200 and Chrysler 300 were only seen as a Fleet Cars and for Rentals???

Recently, with the release of the 2015 Chrysler 200 and 300 models, the company worked hard to change the minds of Americans (well, everyone) and convince them that their cars are not THAT limited.

This attempt has geared out a lot of different opinions about the newer, sleeker body frames and compartment styles. Regardless, it has also brought around some extra creativity from some very clever artists with excellent Photoshop abilities.

Theophilus Chin is one of these aforementioned artists. His concept? The Chrysler 300 Utility Coupe!

However unlikely this model may actually be, it is still an interesting concept and we wanted to share it with you and ask for your opinions. What do you think? Would you drive a Chrysler 300 Utility Coupe? Do you think it's an interesting style? Do you think it's functionality would be useful?

Turnersvilles Jeep Sale

Our 6 Day Winter Blowout Sale!

TBT: 1950 Jeep Pickup

Perhaps not as famously known and familiar "Jeep" (CJ Universal models) we're accustomed to today, Willy's did produce a number of different truck models back in the day, including our feature for today: the 1950 Pickup.

Similar to the Jeep Wagon models, the Pickup Truck was originally introduced in 1947 and was available in both 2WD and 4WD. The 4WD model carried a 1 ton payload and offered a 3-speed transmission and two speed transfer, giving it six forward speeds, two in reverse, and could be ordered with a PTO. This, of course, made the 4WD the more popular option and by 1950 that was the only wheel drive option (the 2WD being discontinued.

In 1950, Willy's also modified the truck to become the "473" with a "Hurricane" 4-cyl engine as an option for their buyers.

Throwback Thursday - Chrysler Edition!

Our First Official Throwback Thursday Post of the Day features the Chrysler CG Imperial Convertible Victoria 1931 !!!

"From the very first days of the Chrysler Corporation, the Imperial was exactly what its name implied: the crown jewel of the company’s offerings. The Classic Era Imperial was nimble, which was belying of their large proportions. The big engine propels them down the straights with ease, while advanced steering geometry minimizes the effort required to navigate through the corners. Chrysler’s reputation as the “Engineering Company” among the Big Three held true with the Imperial, which was, in many ways, the truest “driver’s car” of its era."

Back In Action!

Hello everyone!

Welcome back!

Throwback Thursday is here and we're gearing up to get some posts going your way! Hope you like our selections for today! =)

In the meantime, a casual update. It is snowing again here but we are OPEN. We ask that everyone please take their time while driving as road conditions will vary between slick ice and snow. Thank you!

TBT - 1955 Chrysler Imperial

Back in the day, "The Chrysler product line for 1955 was as intended to be a complete break from the past, visually and mechanically. Color was everywhere, inside and out. All car lines had optional or standard V8s; most had a standard or optional “dual rocker” (Hemi), a Chrysler exclusive, and Chrysler’s two speed Powerflite automatic transmission, operated by a dash mounted stalk in 1955."

"The 1955 Imperial, minus the Chrysler badge for the first time, was an impressive automobile. The front end was an Exner triumph, with its divided grille, large parking lights thrusting out over the front bumper, and elaborate medallion separating the two halves of the grille. The rest of the car, detail by detail, reinforced the impression of luxury and substance, and an Imperial would not suffer from a side-by-side comparison with Cadillac."

(Quotes from Article Source: "The Hundred Million Dollar Look: Chrysler for 1955-56" by Gerard Wilson, on AllPar. Read more of the article here!)

Stress-Free Car Buying

Alright, alright, we'll admit it. A lot of you think that buying a car is a super-packed stress experience! Just look at the research done by Edmunds.com on the matter!

Ew...so you'd rather clean a toilet then come and visit us to buy a car? Well, that's why we want to help!
But...maybe you won't believe us when we say that we'll make it easier for you.
So...to prove it, here are some tips, from us to you, to help reduce stress when you come to our Dealership to buy a vehicle.

1. Know Your Needs. Do you need a vehicle to seat 5 or 7? What color do you want? Do you want a van or an SUV? Do you want 4-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive? Leather seats or cloth? Knowing these things will help our Sales Team narrow down the search to find the car you want faster!
2. Search It Up! Now that you know what you want, do some research before you come in. Find something similar or exactly what you're looking for. Read up on it. Make sure that just because it has some of the features you want, it is what you need. Ask family and friends for recommendations. You can also look on websites like EdmundsCar Tips and Advice for help.
5. Know Your Budget. Know what you can and can't afford. Go from there. It wastes less time for both parties when consumers know their limits. This helps Our Turnersville Jeep Chrysler Dealership to help you find a car that is perfect for you! =D
4. It Takes Time. Hey, we're willing to admit that buying a car and getting through all of the paperwork does take time. We suggest that you plan a day where you can come in without having to worry about making it to a doctor's appointment in 2 hours, or get Timmy and Jane to their soccer game on time. Setting out a specific chunk of time in your schedule will help reduce your stress.
5. Be Active. Just because it's going to take time, doesn't mean you have to sit bored at the desk. Bring something to do; a puzzle book, a handheld game, do some crochet or knit a scarf! Make use of the time so you don't feel the minutes drag by. Having something to do really does help the time pass.
(We'd love a little crochet race car like this! How cute, right? =D )

BuzzFeed and Obama

One of the newest BuzzFeed videos features President Obama.

The title?

"Things Everybody Does But Doesn't Talk About".

They even got Obama to use the popular-growing selfie-stick. Have to admit, this is a pretty good video just for that! But...they also remind us that he's human just like the rest of us. A good watch!

To make it easy for you guys, we're including the BuzzFeed ft. Pres. Obama here:

Car Art!

Car art is quite something and always unique!
But this one is pretty famous, at least here in the States!

So, ever heard of the bumper-car rooster in Brundidge, Alabama? It's so popular that it's been marked as one of Alamba's attractions on RoadsideAmerica.com.

Built by Larry Godwin in 1962 out of old/recycled car bumpers, he gave it a home outside of his gallery, Art Wurks (which opened in 1960). Bascially, this rooster has been around for about a half a century! That's really cool when you think of it that way!

Impatient? Wanna see it now? Here's a photo!

(Wanna read the Article? Go to Auto Sports Art to read more here!)

So, if you're ever driving down Highway 231, or are planning to take a road trip out that way soon, why don't you stop and check it out? Maybe take a picture in front of it? It really is remarkable, standing at about 15 feet and weighing more than a ton!
